Film Coursework- Aims & Context- Story Board
Target Audience: Teenagers aged 14-18
Genre: Romance
My story board is a montage from inside a film. Each slide and scene is formed into a montage to manipulate time and space. Showing a series of shots tied together to a show a situation in a short amount of time. The montage is about young love and in particular a relationship that went wrong between two young lovers. The montage is mostly made from point of view shots from the main character Danielle. Who tells her side of the story through her own eyes. Everything the audience is shown is memories from Danielle about her boyfriend Alex. The montage shows how Danielle's relationship with Alex deters from good to bad. The good parts of the relationship are shown in colour and the bad parts are shown in black and white. This is to help emphasise the difference between the good and the bad so the audience know what is happening. The editing involved will start off with a black screen opening like an eye looking out as if the audience is Danielle and we are seeing everything that is happening through Danielle's eyes.
